You are not required to be a member of The Arc to receive assistance. But if you do become a member you.
* become a member of the state and national chapter of The Arc
* are kept informed on what is happening on a local, state and national levels that affect people with disabilities
* provide membership base so the state and national organization have more clout in affecting legislation
*gain access to training and workshops.
* have a chance to network with other people sharing the same concerns.
* have a chance to participate in the governance and structure of The Arc.
* receive discounts on training
* are taking a step that might make life better for thousands of people with disabilites.
